With the assistance of his friend Miles, Joel embarks on a risky business venture. With the help of his friends, he plans to make “blunt” fun and entertainment out of the business idea. The trouble is, each of them has a hidden life of their own that they are trying to hide. This causes all of them to go way out of their way to try to break into the brothel. “Money For Nothing” takes you into the mind of these characters to bring you into the world of what could be called a “no holds bared” type of comedy.

Joel, Miles, and two other friends, Adam (Kevin Dunn) and Ross (Brian Price), have landed a job as “brickmen” at a strip club. They are to perform a service for a rich client, which turns out to be rescuing a woman from a life of slavery. The catch is, they don’t get paid for it. This means that they are in danger of going to jail if they are caught stealing or if they are caught having sex with a customer.

While performing this risky business, the guys learn that they will be earning over $300 a week. This puts a strain on each as they struggle to make it in the dangerous industry. When the owner decides that he needs to spend some time in prison, the group must bail him out. The movie “Offender” takes place inside of this beautiful setting as the criminal-farming theme continues.

The movie “Offender” is a damn good drama. I especially like the part where the brides become pimps in order to feed their addictions. The guys also learn about what it takes to be a good friend and how they can help each other. The hooker-bride relationship has shades of a morality play. Sometimes it is hard to tell if the people you are hanging out with are good or bad. In this case, the guys help establish which is which.

The movie “Offender” is pure fun. I give it five stars out of five because it is a very entertaining film. I recommend watching it with an adult and only if you have not seen the movie “Office Space”. I would not go so far as to recommend it to someone who has seen that film because the plot is way too mature for that type of audience. For those who have seen either of these two great movies, “Offender” will surely be a winner.”
