Do you like to watch a scary movie? I do and I am not the only one that likes to go to the movies on occasion just for a good time. But if you are like me, then you probably hate most of them. The ones that are made for children are not very scary at all.

Are you tired of the over the top special effects and blood? If so, then it may be time to take a pass on that type of scary movie. Sure, they make you feel scared but it is not as if they are scaring you. The special effects and blood are there to make the movie a lot more fun than what it really is.

There are some horror movies that are just not scary at all. Some of these are favorites of many people from all walks of life. They like the suspense and the atmosphere that goes along with watching a scary movie. It gives the viewer a feeling of anxiety while being entertained by the movies. That is the way that it should be for a movie.

When you are thinking about choosing a scary movie, you need to make sure that you are choosing one that is just right for you. Don’t let the title scare you away. Some movies will have a catchy name that will make them jump out at you while others might have a boring one. You need to read the descriptions to see what the movie is all about. If you don’t know what the movie is about, then you will feel foolish after seeing it.

Another thing that you need to consider is whether or not you want a loud or quiet scary movie. Some people like a quiet scary movie while others want something that is a little bit louder. That is a personal preference that needs to be addressed.

One of my favorite scary movie favorites is “The Shining”. It is without a doubt the scariest movie I have ever seen. It is also one of the best films of all time. If you are in the mood for a great film, then make sure you take a look at “The Shining”. It is just a great film. Try it for yourself!

It would be a mistake to go into “The Exorcist” without seeing the movie version. The original version was much scarier than the version that exists today. The film stars Jason Lee as a man who must deal with an possessed woman. I do not think the film is scary, but I also do not think it is great.

In addition to these two great horror films, there are many other scary movie favorites. “The Ring” is a very scary movie that you should definitely try out. “A Nightmare On Elm Street” is another great choice if you have never seen the film. If you like “The Shining”, “A Christmas Story”, or “The Exorcist”, you will definitely want to check out “The Ring”. Just a few other examples of great scary movies are “The Ring” and “The Saw” trilogy. Maybe you are ready for a real home theater experience and you should start trying to find new and exciting titles to watch on DVD.
