What exactly is it that you want out of life? What is your “lifestyle”? When do you live your lifestyle? What is your “Lifestyle”? Do you have one? The answer to this question will determine how successful you are as a Mediteranean.

You can use a lifestyle definition as the starting point and simply work from there. For example, some lifestyle definition’s might be, “I like to go for a run at least once a week”. Or “I like to cook at home so I will not have to drive to get food”. Etc. Your lifestyle is what you make it!

In order to find your own definition of a lifestyle, take a look around you. What do you like to do? Does it involve physical activity? Is it social or quiet time? Are you someone who likes to read or take long walks in nature? Take note of your habits and identify if there is a certain pattern to your lifestyle.

Once you’ve identified your habits, write them down. Put them in a specific order. Perhaps you have a favorite place that you visit on a regular basis, such as your local library. Write down where you went and what you did there. This will help you discover if you have a consistent pattern. For example, if you often visit your local library, you should write down the number of books you get there and the time spent there.

You can then tweak your lifestyle definition by adding things to it to better suit your lifestyle. For example, if you only spend time at home during the day, you can increase your reading time or decide to visit a coffee shop once a month instead of once a week. However, make sure that you don’t make this drastic change until you have examined your lifestyle. Only by taking this inventory of yourself will you be able to determine if you have any lifestyle related issues to consider.

The next step in refining your lifestyle definition is to be honest with yourself. If you are unhappy, you need to tell yourself about it. If you love your job, tell yourself about it. This will help you eliminate unhealthy habits and develop new ones. Only then can you improve your lifestyle and begin living in a healthy state.

There is also a step by step plan you can follow to begin changing your habits immediately. For example, if you smoke, you can replace the cigarettes with chewing gum. This is a quick way to give up the habit without having to deal with withdrawal symptoms. These tips are great because they offer a short term solution and a long term plan to go after your lifestyle changes.

When you have defined your lifestyle, then you can begin using it as a guide when looking at your life. You will be able to see which activities and places in your life need improving. Once you have done this, then you can take the necessary steps towards making your lifestyle healthy.
